In July 1908, the 25th anniversary of the institute was festively celebrated. Eugène De Bremaecker made the customised pendant which was issued in both silver and bronze. On the front of the pendant, a woman teaches sign language to a child. The reverse shows a coat of arms and a banderole with inscription.
