Online sessions for selected participants of the 2020 edition
In the summer of 2021, the selected participants of the Summer Course edition 2020 met each other online during two sessions. On 1 July, the participants presented their research (questions) to each other and Till-Holger Borchert (Musea Brugge) and Prof. Dr. Maximiliaan Martens (UGent) shared their insights on the exhibition Van Eyck. An optical revolution. In the following week, the participants discussed their research questions with experts in the field.
Let's meet again: a reunion with participants of previous editions
The alumni of the five editions of the Summer Course for the Study of the Arts in Flanders (2015-2019) met each other again during an online event on July 8th 2021. Prof. Dr. Koenraad Jonckheere (Ghent University) presented his recent publication Another History of Art, and the partner institutions of the Summer Course shared their recent research insights.
