The History of Art Grants program supports scholarly projects that enhance the appreciation and understanding of European works of art and architecture from antiquity to the early 19th century. Grants are awarded to projects that create and disseminate specialized knowledge and for activities that permit art historians to share their expertise.
In addition to the two Kress grants, two grants will also be awarded by the Summer Course organisation. Participants with a Summer Course Grant will pay a participation fee of €640 (incl. VAT) instead of €1280 (incl. VAT).
In addition to a resume, a letter of motivation and a letter of recommendation, from a faculty member, required for general applications, candidates for financial aid are also asked to send a statement explaining their financial need.
Apply now for the 7th edition of the Summer Course The Age of Rubens.
