In her procession walk Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Cato and Plato. The wheels of her chariot are decorated with tongues, ears and eyes to spread fame. Fame overcomes Death; he is miserably crushed under the elephants' paws. In the background are two obelisks, monuments erected in honour of famous people.
