Top left, Moses receives the tablets of the law on Mount Sinai. The tetragram symbolises God the Father. Meanwhile, the Israelites dance around a pedestal with the golden calf. When Moses returned and saw their idolatry, he smashed the tablets in anger (Ex. 32:1).
