Edward VII, the son of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert of Sasken-Coburg succeeded his mother as king of England in 1901. On the reverse, Westminster Abbey is depicted. More than a hundred different coronation medals were issued for this event. Edward VII reigned only from 1901 to 1910.
