In Abraham's departure to Shechem (sometimes considered The Annunciation to the Shepherds), an angel appears in the sky. In the foreground are four figures surrounded by their animals, including sheep, goats and a cow. A shepherd boy sleeps against the broken trunk of a tree on the right, and in the centre a woman kneels before a bucket of water.
