In the temple in Jerusalem, the Pharisees bring a woman caught in adultery to Christ. He is to judge her. Christ writes with his finger in the ground and says: "He who is without sin cast the first stone" (John 8:2-11). The print has a Latin caption; it is part of a series on the life of Christ.
