The sentence 'Diaboli virtus in lumbis est', sometimes attributed to Augustine of Hippo (Saint Augustine), actually comes from a letter by Hieronymus of Stridon (Saint Hieronymus); Epistulae, 22,11 - Ad Eustochium - De virginitate servanda.
