On this medal, Georges Dupré depicts on the obverse the worship of Christ where all the symbols are present, ranging from the birth, the burning bramble to the thorns destined for his crown. The reverse depicts the religious experience of the Catholic Church around the altar and the crucifix. The medal appears in the sales catalogue of the Monnaie de Paris. It was mainly intended for religious occasions. It was available in three sizes and three types of metal. This piece was exhibited at the Salon de la Medaille during the 1910 World Fair in Brussels by both the Monnaie de Paris and the artist himself.
