For this, both museums are making good use of the digital infrastructure of the Flemish Art Collection.
The new collections’ page of the KMSKA website displays more than 8.500 works, which you can browse via title, artist, materials and technique as well as the period. In addition, you can search the catalog with Iconclass and AAT terms. The KMSKA is using the IIIF standard to provide the images at high resolution. All images with CC0 license can be downloaded from the collection’s website.
The collections’ page of the Mu.ZEE is easily searchable thanks to a variety of filters: dating, category, collection, maker and location. The works of art can be viewed in detail and downloaded thanks to the use of the IIIF standard.
